Ripassa Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Zenato 750ml Red
When the dried grapes from which Amarone is made are pressed, Valpolicella is mixed with the -still hot- marcs that gave Amarone.
Thus begins a second alcoholic fermentation which increases the alcohol content and makes the wine richer in color giving it a deep ruby color.
The wine brings out strong aromas of raspberry and black currant framed by pepper.
In the palette, the wine is soft and viscous with balanced acidity and alcohol.
