SANTO NYKTERI WHITE DRY WINE 750ML. This multi-leveled wine has a clear lemon color and aromas of jasmine, green fruits and a vanilla taste at the background. It has a long and pleasant aftertaste with elegant tones of oak. Ideally served with seafood and fish, white meats, cheeses and fruits. This exceptional wine is a blend of local varieties 75% Assyrtiko, 15% Athiri, 10% Aidani and has been produced in vineyards 400 metres above the sea levels in the volcano soils of the island, from vines aged 20-60 years and handpicked specifically between 10-20th August. It’s called Nykteri which means ‘all night long’ because the vine leaves are pressed all night right after their harvest! It’s maturation process in French oak barrels lasts for 3 months.
