FUJIMI BLENDED JAPANESE WHISKY 700ML is merely « Japanese ». The contents is more or less exclusively distilled in Scotland, and then nationalized and made Japanese by « producer » Matsui Shuzo Distillery.

Nose: Mildly fruity, banana sticking out. It does remind me quite a lot of an average Scotch blend. Fair enough quality, but a bit bland. With time it turns a bit more spicy.

Taste: Medium body and sweetness.Apples, Bananas – actually, make that baked bananas. Fairly spicy – white pepper, ginger and cinnamon.

FUJIMI “Immortality” in Japanese – is a tribute to those “who served” in Japan under the “Bushido code ; respecting the 7 virtues of Courage, Integrity, Honesty, Loyalty, Respect, Compassion and Honor.
